The second Scientific Congress of the Desert Studies Center: Anabar University/ Iraq

December 24 to December 26, 2012

The Desert Studies Center in Iraq organizes the second scientific congress from December 24 to December 26, 2012 in the Anbar University under the slogan

Scientific research is the basis of comprehensive development in the Iraqi desert.

The congress is sponsored by the Ministry of higher Education and Scientific Research as a result of the interest in the development of regions in the desert. Representatives of ministries and research centers are going to present about 70 researches. The congress is supervised by a scientific and organizing committee presided by the Dr. AbdSalah Fiadh, president of Desert Studies Center, and Dr. Saif Eddine Abd Errasaq, president of the scientific committee.

The Desert Studies Center is concerned with desert studies, pollution, and desertification.
